Bar and Counter Stools As a Focal Point and As Inspiration

It is interesting to think of something such as bar stools and counter as a focal point, why not? With a wide selection of chairs are available now, the options can be staggering. In one of my previous articles, I made brief mention of using them as a focal point. Let me now take that one step further, suggesting starting a new project planning right there!

Those of us who are just itching to make changes in our environment, can do something, like a fabulous new bar stool set, and used as inspiration and run with it! Start with a specific theme, color scheme and design that you love, and then select just ask your designer to get the juices flowing. From there, think about wearing the same theme, color scheme and design throughout. Especially in the area of your home that is open and connected, such as kitchen, dining room and family room combination area.

If, for example, have a passion for the ocean, you can start with the ocean theme patterned fabric on the chairs. There are many great fabrics are available on the market now, which is designed for outdoor use, but that can be used indoors as well. This is just one example, there are many options available.

In connecting family room, tackle a couch (one of the main pieces of furniture in this area). What about choosing a color from the fabric you used on the chair and use it as the main color on the couch. It would then be interesting to use the same theme fabric for throw pillows. It would be easy to change out if you later decide to try something new.

If you would prefer not to use fabric theme here, yet the idea is to use color-in-color. Use some of the colors from the fabric and create a collage in a color that has to do with the topic into the fabric, using the same or complimentary colors. Mix and match here for an interesting effect. One guy also, it would be advisable for you to think of using the subject fabric, the smaller items that will be less expensive to change later if you decide to do so.

This is my personal opinion, that if you decide to make a theme, is not necessarily better. In fact, using the theme of the items in order to create more impact too busy. So, keep them to a minimum, and use a little more color. Another thought, when the beauty of that room with items that tie into the theme, instead of putting a lot of little things all about, think about the perfect picture over the mantel that is just a simple compliment. You may add more throw rug also in front of the sofa or fireplace. Do not forget to keep it simple. Tie it in, but do not overdo it.
After all, the idea is to showcase those perfect chair, not beat them. Make them stand and say: "Come on, sit back, relax and enjoy each others company ."

The right chair can certainly be a focal point in space, a wonderful inspiration as well. I enjoy having the opportunity to write and express their opinions and suggestions, which have only the author.
